four functions

NIST AI Risk Management Framework; It handles manage, contextualize, measure and manage functions together. The framework is voluntary and does not impose the same ready-made checklist on all sectors. The goal is to make AI risks visible throughout design, development, use and evaluation.

Why isn't one point enough?

While a system may demonstrate high accuracy, it may produce problems in terms of privacy, security, or fairness. Additionally, laboratory measurement may not fully represent behavior in a real-life environment. Therefore, performance, context, and likelihood of harm are evaluated together.

human control

Human consent isn't just about having a button on the screen. The auditor must have sufficient information, time and authority to change the decision. A workflow with unclear accountability can increase the societal risk of a technically good model.

discussion question
